FAQ

We realize you may be going through a difficult time and may have many questions. Please read this list of Frequently Asked Questions to get some fast answers. If you still have questions, call us for immediate assistance.

Q: I've just sustained damage due to a fire. Do I need to gut everything and rebuild everything from scratch?

A: Not necessarily. You need an expert to carefully assess the nature and extent of the damage to determine what needs reconstruction and what needs cleaning.

Q: My insurance agent is asking me a million questions and I don't know where to start. What should I do?

A: The first thing you need to do is to take a deep breath and relax. Things will get better, but it will take time. Your insurance agent needs lots of information and wants to see the damage as soon as possible. Cooperate and provide all relevant information in a timely fashion. The sooner the insurance company has what it needs, the faster you will get serviced.

Q: So many things are ruined. Do I need to call individual contractors: a plumber, electrician, carpenter, etc.? It's too much to handle!

A: All it takes is one call to ESPO Fire & Water, and we will coordinate everything for you and be your general contractor. This gives you only one person to contact and one person to be accountable for all other contractors.

Q: How long have you been in business and why should I trust you to help me?

A: ESPO Fire & Water has been in business since 1983 and has restored thousands of damaged area homes and businesses. They are responsible for commercial restoration projects ranging from the Atlas Life Building and Sand Springs Central Junior High to Sheffield Steel and Charles Schwabb in the Philtower Building. Our long and successful track record has earned us the right to ask for your business.

Q: What makes ESPO Fire & Water different from its competitors?

A: At ESPO Fire & Water, you are much more than a client number to us. We care about you during your time of need, and we will do everything in our power to reduce your stress. Our customers say that by the time we're done with a project, we're more than just a construction company -- we're their counselors and friends.

Q: How is ESPO Fire & Water involved in the community?

A: Our advertising promotes the use of smoke detectors and a "safe outside meeting place" for families during a fire. We are involved in many different associations and programs including The Institute of Real Estate Management, Tulsa Apartment Association, Building Owners & Managers Association, and the Home Builders Association.

Testimonials

After our house fire, things were very grim. It was cold, rainy and the upstairs and downstairs of our home was burned. ESPO was very detail-oriented, very thorough, yet imaginative in their solutions. We met with ESPO's team every morning and they held our hands every step of the way. All the changes and quality of the work was wonderful. Thanks for turning our lights back on ESPO!

Vickie and John Shivel

These are good people. They're honest, they keep their word. I can't believe how meticulous they are with follow up in customer service ... ESPO would show us every little detail, and explain why they're doing what they're doing, things you didn't expect from a contractor.

Michele Dishmen

Our home had a fire with extensive smoke damage. You are really traumatized. ESPO was quick to come on the job and addressed our concerns, and explained what they were going to do to get us back to where we were before the fire. They did an exceptional job for us and exceeded our expectations.
